2005年08月03日下午大家上完課後,逕行頂著炙熱到智慧局進行參訪.由智慧局國際事務及綜合企劃組組長陳文斌與專員熱誠接待,在簡報完畢後,更安排精緻參訪專利,著作權,檢索與圖書室,尤其受到張睿哲審查科長悉心介紹,讓衛生署參與長官能了解專利實際運作,在參訪著作權單位時,我特別告訴衛生署長官有免費手冊提供,果然帶了一大堆豐碩資料,相信對未來處理著作權更能得心應手. 最後在智慧局前與我政大跨領域同學葉博士與智慧局專員共同合照為此次活動劃下完美句點,謝謝智慧局細心安排此次參訪活動,亦期待0824與0825第二梯次課程.

Who is david ko?

To briefly introduce my background, I added three pictures from economic daily news and magazines. I have to clarify that all copyright about the pictures and contents belong to the original newspaper. After reviewing the contents, you will quickly understand my past.

In addition, I add BBL logo to let everybody knowing it. Sometime, BBL will raise a free seminar to help students or RD people to know the update IP knowledge. Enclosed please find the pictures about patent litigation in Shsin Hsin University.
You could find that there are croweded in this seminar. Now, BBL helps some academic units to set up their IP staffs and things.

BBL will help patent firm to introduce the latest IP education. For example, BBL help Gardin International Patent firm to raise "how to calculate the fee about patent infringement." The speaker is US patent attorney, Chaunency Johnson, who is the previous patent examiner. The course lets me know how to calculate your loss based on direct, indirect and contributory infringement and practice. Finally, all attenders considered such course are very good. Mike played very good translator in this seminar.

my incubating company: nanotake

Nanotake (www.nanotake.com) is the first company fully supported by biobizlaw Inc. Now, the company has slightly renowned in nano field. I am very happy to see the current condition for nanotake. The president of Nanotake is Dr. HUNG.
Jason has provided his effort for nanotake growth and development. In 2003-2005, BBL has applied some governmental grants to help licensing and tech transfer to other companies. Of course, nanotake obtained not bad interest and performance. From nanotake startup, BBL plays Intellectual Property (IP) guard for nanotake.
